Product Sales and Rentals

As a means to increase access to assistive technology devices, Oregon’s Assistive Technology Program provides consumers (individuals or agencies) with the opportunity to borrow one device at time, for a 14-day period. The consumer is responsible for a one-time maintenance and refurbishment charge of $9, and covers all shipping expenses. A refundable deposit may be required.

If the consumer wishes to extend the loan period they may enter into a 30-day rental period, whereby rental fees are assessed based on the replacement value of the item, with a minimum charge of $20.

Some devices including scooters, Segways and modular ramps are excluded from the 14-day loan program. Specific rental information pertaining to these devices is noted within the description section of the item.
