Maltron's are curved to fit the lengths of your individual fingers (from tallman to pinkie). Keys are displayed in a more efficient usage arrangement. Notice that the "e" (most frequently used letter) is right under the thumb.
The left handed or right handed keyboards are for individuals able to use only one hand. Both of these have the unique key arrangement for the most efficient usage of the single individual hand.
