Hi-ER Link-it Array Microphone
Do you wear hearing aids and find it difficult to understand speech in noisy environments? The Link-it Array Microphone is designed to focus on the person in front of you, while suppressing sounds beside and benind you. Worn on the ear close to the hearing aid, the Link-it is designed with three directional microphones, and transmits sound t oa BTE or ITE through the hearing aid's built-in telecoil. Many people have found this assistive listening aid effective in restaurants and noisy, reverberant areas (such as large public buildings, large meeting rooms, airports and in the car) where it is difficult for even normal-hearing persons to understand speech well.

Monthly Rental: $40.00 + nominal maintenance fee

Loop Systems
Transmit sounds by creating a magnetic field inside a wire loop circling all or part of a room; people inside the loop receive the sounds through their telecoil-equipped hearing aids or by using a loop receiver. This system allows the user to control the volume of the transmitted signal.

Pocketalker PKT
Designed for one-on-one conversations, television listening, listening in the car, or while in small groups, the Pocketalker amplifies sound clearly and easily for better understanding. For your convenience, the Pocketalker may be used with a variety of earphones, headphones, or with a neckloop and your telecoil-equipped hearing aids.

Monthly Rental: $20.00 + nominal maintenance fee

Tel-CL40
The powerful amplifier of the Tel-CL40 increases sounds up to 30 times, has adjustable tone control, and inlcudes an Audio jack for connection to neckloop, headsets or cochlea implant cord. Specific cordless features of this telephone include 900 MHz technology fo extended operating range and static-free transmission, advanced noise reduction technology filters out background noise, and three-hours talk time between battery charges.

Tel-VCO Dialogue VCO Telephone
Looking for a Voice-Carry-Overtelehone? Try the Tel-VCO, manufactured by Dialogue. This telephone includes a hearing aid compatible amplifier to amplify incoming calls up to 30 dB, automatic tone enhancement, lighted 2-line, 20 character screen to display incoming VCO call text messages, and an answering machine that takes text messages while you're away.

Williams Sound Personal FM
The PFM 300 is another choice in assistive listening device. Manufactured by Williams Sound, the unit is designed to broadcast the speaker’s voice from up to 150 feet away, directly to the ears of the individual who is hard of hearing. Use this William Sound receiver with a single or dual earphone, headphones, or a neckloop, and if you are experiencing difficulties hearing fellow students in a classroom environment, the PFM 350 is designed with the environmental microphone option, which not only picks up the voice of the teacher, by allows you to hear questions and comments from fellow students sitting around you.

Williams Sound WIR 952
Suitable for mild to moderate hearing loss, the WIR 952 by William Sound, connects directly to your television, VCR, or DVD or can be used it during small group meetings; allowing you to listen at the volume of your comfort. The WIR 952 operates at 95kHz (the current industry standard for Large Area IR Systems), making possible, in some cases, to use your personal receiver at cinemas, theaters, and other facilities that have installed infrared systems. Williams Sound provides a five-year warranty on this product, which is designed to operate over an area of 400 square feet in stereo mode or 800 square feet in mono mode.
