The integral hand support is curved and elevated to fit the palm, and the buttons are positioned to fall under the thumb and fingers more easily; reducing movement.

The six buttons can be programmed for functions such as click, drag lock, double click, and speed control. 

Programming the Evolution Mouse-Trak is accomplished through the hardware, and therefore does not require any software installation.
