Current Employment Opportunity

Over the past twenty-six years, our Assistive Technology Specialists have increased the independence of more than 122 thousand Oregonians through the use of assistive technology devices and services. As impressive as that sounds, there are over 1 million Oregonians living with a disability. So we have more work to do.

About Our Company:

Access Technologies, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose mission is to assure that persons with disabilities in Oregon will be able to secure and effectively use assistive technologies. As a full service assistive technology provider, our team of Certified Assistive Technology Specialists have over 40 years of combined experience providing AT trainings, evaluations, and ergonomic assessments.

Office Specialist

Tired of the typical office job?  Like to help others? Looking for a professional position that also allows to time for play?

Then perhaps our Office Specialist position is right for you.

Our Office Specialist does more than provide wonderful customer service and complete data entry tasks. This is the individual who greets our customers and clients when they call or come into our office.

The Office Specialist assists customers in selecting the right device (ex. walker, wheelchair, daily living aid, etc.) to help themselves or a family member recover at home more quickly following surgery. In addition to being the face of our company, ATI’s Office Specialist is responsible for opening and closing the office, ensuring the sales floor is stocked, and cleaning and sanitizing equipment that has been donated, or returned from being out on loan -  an opportunity to bring your “play clothes” and use the pressure washer.

The Office Specialist even has the opportunity to work alongside our Assistive Technology Specialists in demonstrating devices in our Center that provide hope, inspiration, and independence to individuals with disabilities. Maybe one day the team will be showing an elderly lady magnification devices that allow her to see the pictures of her grandchild for the first time, or demonstrating a device to an individual recovering from a stroke that allows him to more clearly communicate with his wife, or perhaps as part of this team you will have the opportunity to show a deaf-blind child technology that allows him to video chat with his parent who travels for work.
